Early Years
ITConnexion is founded in 2003 as traditional IT services company, starting with just 2 employees with a small office in Melbourne.
Managed Service Transformation
We enhance our value proposition by transforming our service to Managed Service model where we take over the management of our client IT infrastructure and its operation. By transferring the complexities and risks to us, business can focus on running and growing their core business.
Technology Modernisation
ITConnexion invest heavily in remote monitoring and management tools to enhance our processes and enable real time alerts and workflow automation.
ConnexionPoint is Born
We started developing ConnexionPoint, our custom-built ERP that consolidate data into a single warehouse and use it to enhance workflows, automate processes, track and control all aspects of our business operation (CRM, HR, RMM, Finance, Sales, Project Management, Asset Management). ConnexionPoint is still the primary tool that we use until today and is continuously improved with further development.
Cloud and IT Security Portfolio
We embarked with a series of merger, acquisitions, and partnership to develop our cloud and IT Security Capability. We also strengthen our partnership with key technology leaders and invest in training our team. The team grows to about 25 people in 2016.
Next Generation MSP
ITConnexion continue its managed service transformation towards becoming a Next-Generation Managed Service Provider. As next-gen MSP, we emphasise on practices to ensure that performance of IT infrastructure is a given. This allows us to focus on understanding our clients’ business and help pursue higher-level, higher impact activities that drive business growth.
Expansion & Growth
ITConnexion expands our customer base beyond Victoria. Jakarta office is established in 2018 to spearhead our expansion to Indonesia and Southeast Asia Market and we onboard our first customer in Indonesia in the same year. In 2019 we opened our Canberra office to strengthen our ACT operations, and we are opening an office in Albury-Wodonga in early 2021 to enhance our service delivery capability in region. Our team grows to around 50 people.
Enable Remote Work
Amidst the global pandemic in 2020, ITConnexion rose to the occasion, extending its helping hand to companies and organisations across Australia. Our mission was clear: facilitate the smooth transition of business activities to a remote working model. Despite the unprecedented challenges, ITConnexion ensured that every company and organisation adapted seamlessly to this new paradigm. It was a period of intense activity and dedication.
Government Collaboration: Enhancing Cybersecurity at Scale
As the world grappled with the surge in cyber threats while working remotely, ITConnexion pioneered a fully funded Cyber Security Awareness Program, in collaboration with the government, to safeguard companies and organisations across Australia. Simultaneously, we conducted Essential Eight Audits for each entity, enhancing their readiness to thwart cyber-attacks and protect their invaluable data. Through webinars and online workshops, we shared critical knowledge to bolster cybersecurity defences.
Merger of ITConnexion and InvolveIT
In early 2023, ITConnexion reached a significant milestone through a merger with Involve IT, a company renowned for its expertise in automation, business process optimisation, and security compliance consulting. This strategic move allows us to offer even more comprehensive solutions to our clients.
Furthermore, ITConnexion has earned ISO 27001:2013 certification for our Managed Service, Cloud Services, IT Security Services, and Software Development Services. Notably, we’ve achieved Microsoft Solution Partner and Micro Focus Gold Partner status. This demonstrates our commitment to excellence by aligning with reputable partners and suppliers, thereby enhancing the quality of products and services we provide to our cherished clients.
