Under the service package, itconnexion will have a systems engineer on-site on a scheduled basis to ensure ongoing operational stability of your IT infrastructure and to manage and resolve outstanding issues.
service description
On-site services include;
- Server checks and visual inspections of the server;
- Perform operating system patches, anti-virus updates;
- Resolve issues that cannot be performed remotely by the Helpdesk. This can involve replacement of equipment, removal of virus, spyware, adware, etc.;
- Answer any IT-related issues and enquiries from users;
- Perform periodic meetings with clients to manage service level, discuss any new requirements and to review any outstanding issues;
- Review infrastructure and equipment and maintain site documentation;
- Record and update information in the ConnexionPoint system.
flexibility
On-site visits will be scheduled to occur on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis on date and time convenient for you. Scheduled on-site visits do not attract travel time or call-out fees under the service-package.
Whilst the scope of on-site work for the service-package is primarily to perform the routine work listed above it is possible for you to use these service hours within the month for some discretionary work as long as this has been mutually agreed prior to the on-site visit. This can be in the form of;
- installation of new equipment;
- an on-demand service requiring urgent attention; and/or
- other project work.
